About Mark Derricott

When I’m not in my office, I serve on Olympia’s Planning Commission, the board of the Olympia Historical Society and the PARC Foundation of Thurston County. I also volunteer with the Housing Justice Project a program of Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services. My wife and I live in the Eastside Neighborhood of Olympia with our dog, Clyde.

I studied history and Russian at the University of Utah and graduated with honors from Seattle University’s School of Law where I participated in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition, International Law Society and the Russian Legal Society.
